I've been having some strange problems with FreeBSD 1.1R's PPPD, and I was
wondering if someone could enlighten me. I have recently been set up with a
service that is 199.0.65.14... I'm 199.180.165.1... When I try to run
pppd like this:

1.) use kermit to call and establish connection which starts ppp on their end.
2.) do a: pppd /dev/ttyd00 57600, it immediately resets the modem and dies.

Any suggestions?
