It is quite amazing that these companies spend millions of dollars
on marketing hype and lawyers to make a product which can be/ has
been built independently by a few people in a short time. (and is
much better).

The unix they make is clearly fat like the bureaucracy it comes from.

Why don't you 'all spend those 10s of millions thats going into
lawyers, marketing, and executives pockets on improving the product?
Then you won't need to spend 30 million to force it down our throats,
it will be a viable product.

The superior product will eventually prevail - but it will probably
not be written in the U.S. -- were too busy trying to fill out
all this damn paper work to make any decent products.
