A while ago I posted about a problem I was having with FreeBSD 1.0.2.
"telnet localhost" would cause an immediate reboot.

I'd like to thank Hermann Schinagl <schinagl@sztms.tu-graz.ac.at> for
suggesting a work-around that made the problem go away:  build one SLIP
device into the kernel, even if you're not using SLIP.
