Lines: 11 Message-ID: <2rit33$797@Mercury.mcs.com> NNTP-Posting-Host: mercury.mcs.com X-Newsreader: TIN [version 1.2 PL2 (KSD)] okay I spent all night downloading the X stuff for 2.1.1 and untar it and follow the directiosn in the readme. 1) where is XDM?? no t in my bin directory or anywhere... 2) I try startx and it bombs saying cant open /de/v/ttyv1(/dev/ttyv1) and then quits... anyone who can help or tell me what I am doing wrong is appreciated.
