I have an idea which I think somebody, somewhere, might have time to
implement. When somebody does a port of BSD or Mach (or any other OS)
to a new or previously unsupported architecture, they should keep a
detailed log of everything that needed to be done. Then they should
clean up this log, and publish it on the Net. That way, we don't have
thousands of posts saying "I want to port xxx to my toaster -- what do I
need to do?" I know how maddening it is to try and read sources and
figure it out; knowing what people before you helps things like this
immensely.

TTFN,
Chris
