Summary: Do the BSDs support the GUS?
Keywords: bsd,GUS

Here's the deal:

I'm buying a 486DX2/66 this summer to run Unix on, and I'm trying to decide
between the *BSDs and Linux. A major factor in this decision is soundcard
support; recent revisions of the Linux kernel have Gravis drivers built-in,
and software such as Adagio and GMOD is avalible. Does anything like this
exist on the BSDs (specifically for the GUS, since that's the card I plan to
buy)?

E-mail replies are prefered, but posting is okay too.

Thanks in advance...
Ian
