Hello
I suspect this is a FAQ but so far I haven't found a solution.
I installed FreeBSD-release on a PC using a single spare HD without any problem.

I now want to install it on the real machine on the second hard disk. Both
disks are IDE and there will be plenty of space on the second one (all nicely
backed up and ready to go).

When I boot and the insert the filesystem floppy it seems to only want to
discuss wd0 and there seems to be no option to switch to wd1. As at that point
there isn't even a cat I cannot see if install or .profile is expecting an
alternate arguement. Is this simply a matter of Ctrl-C'ng out and setting a new
environment variable or am I trying to do something which was not intended to
be done with this release. Any hints please (take out the 1st drive and make
the second one wd0???).

I am trying to avoid having to disembowel the machine too many times....

Or should I wait for 1.X...........

Thanks
Neil
