Yep, me too.  I just put a BB2016 in my Linux box last week.  16 high speed
ports on ONE IRQ.  Plug and play with Linux (I don't know about */BSD/*, but
I'd imagine it would be just as easy).

Do NOT buy the BB100[48].  No modem control lines.  

Make sure you order cables when you order the BB2016.  You won't find
them anywhere else...
