Talk about promising,  the features of SpringOS from Sun Micro 
are amazing.  They have built a universal naming service in which
arbitrary objects can be bound to names.  I think this approach
is far more attractive than Plan9's "everything is a filesystem"
approach.  When will the world get to play with a Spring type
system?
