I'm running Linux v1.1.8 as an NFS file server to 2 more
Linux Platforms and UW1.1 and it works like a dream. Now
where did you here that Linux is not a very good NFS Server?
I've been using is since v0.99pl6 and has never croaked or
loose files are run slow. The server is a 486DX25 with
	an Adaptec 1542B + > 4GB of storage space + CD + DAT.
