Hi there... I've got a 300 meg FreeBSD-1.1 BETA system up
and I was looking for some advice on the cheapest way to reliably
back it up. I originally was thinking of backing up my system
on floppies, but once I started looking into buying 200+ floppies
I began to wonder if there was a cheaper way. In particular, I
read in a book from a few years ago that it was possible for
PC users to hook their computer up to a VCR as a cheap way to do
backups. I also have a friend that tells me a QIC-40 tape drive
is definitely the cheapest way to go nowadays... if so what brand
of tape drive would work best with *bsd?
Thanks in advance for any advice/comments/suggestions. :-)
