Yes.  You're missing libc.so.4.0.  You need to keep old shared library
major versions around if you have programs that are linked with them.

On the other hand, you might try getting a fresh copy of XFree86-2.1.
I believe it was rebuilt recently to work with the new NetBSD library
formats, which means it probably uses a higher version libc.
