You might try posting your question on info.bsdi.users, since that is just
bsdi users.  I've been playing with SLIP, but have several differences and
am not using 1.1 yet.  Your kernel needs to be built to support slip, of
course; and you need to put up routed or gated so that your target host will
handle routing; and you need to be sure that your subnet ID's will work with
your network setup.  I have been able to go from/to my single target host w/o
these, but to do much else, you need more.

I don't have a configuration where I can use BSDI as my agressor machine - my
testing has been with DOS programs like TELBIN.  My hopes are to get our act
sufficiently together so that Windows programs like WINQVT will work.  If I get
a BSDI box at home, I'll work on slip from it into work - but that isn't there
right now.
