I discovered something really cool yesterday that some people might not
have realized (I didn't for a year and a half of using *bsd). The SunOS
program fdformat and tar appear to be compatible with FreeBSD 1.0.2.
This is not surprising now that I think about it, but before yesterday
I had never thought about it. I always used to use the klunky DOS format
to sneaker net files around, as I knew it was compatible.
