It depends on how you are using it.

If you're using the   Buslogic in 154x compatibility   mode (with the   AHA
driver), then you're limited to ISA bus operations thus 16 MB.

In a EISA system it is plain stupid. So use  your BT742A with the BT driver
which enable you to use all the memory of your EISA system.

I'm  using a 747S  and I'm sure   the day I'll put  more  than 16  MB it my
computer it will work as ever.
