Summary: ne2000's are okay
Keywords: ne2000 ethernet on unix

I am currently using a Misco NE2000 clone on my FreeBSD-1.1-BETA box and I
communicate with a Solbourne at about 400k/sec no prob. It's not the
ne2000. FreeBSD has excellent support for ethernet and networking in
general.
