The initial installation was done by some one else. The system has been set up to call out, I can not get the system to answer the phone. The modem will not aknowledge the ring as carrier is not high. Everything in my TTYS file is set to off as when I set com1 as on with getty the UUCICO task can not get control of the port. Does any one have a solution to this problem? What do I need to get hold of and from where. Please netmail the responses to me as my news feed is very erratic at the moment.
