Hi, all *BSD folks:

I used to be a LINUXer running kernel 1.0r and XFree86-2.0 happily
in my Intel 486SX system. Recently I emptied the DOS partition in my
340MB HD and started installing NetBSD-current, which is from one of
my schoolmates who TARs up his system as lib.tar.gz, bin.tar.gz,
etc.tar.gz, game.tar.gz,... and so on. (he puts them in the site
netbsd.csie.nctu.edu.tw:/pub/NetBSD/current-upgrade/tar_file) So it's
just a copy of his nice BSD system.
After I finish all the installation steps written in the document,
everything seems to be o.k. and i successfully compiled tcsh-6.04 and
cxterm-11.5.1. (Chinese xterm) Then i installed XFree86-2.1 , setup
Xconfig and enter X-window with 'startx', it was o.k. with twm and xterm
in the first few minutes. But my keyboard would freeze after I typed
many keys to let it do many jobs like FTPing, compiling or TARing...
The most weird way is that I can still cut and paste between xterm's
to enter commands! Everything is just o.k. except keyboard inputing!
What's wrong with it? I have tried installing FreeBSD-1.0-R with
XFree86-2.0 before and met the same problem. It lets me guess that it
is the problem from some unknown wickedness of my hardware. But why
is my X in Linux so smooth? I usually let it turned on for days doing
lots of jobs without any big problem...
I have posted this problem in my native Internet-BBS sites and some
suggested me to change some features in the BIOS settings. O.k., here
I list my settings. Everyone, any suggests would be highly appreciated.
Please note again that these features runs very smoothly in Linux
X-window. Also, please forward me your messages, thanks.
