I have been running a Dell 486D50 under NetBSD for a few months now with
great success, until today. The machine begins to boot:

Booting wd(0,a)/netbsd @ 0x0
text=0x5d000 data=0x4000 bss=0x1053c total=0x7153c entry point=0x20

and then hangs, and I have to cold boot. So I thought I would boot off floppy.
I put in the kernel disk and restart the machine:

Booting fd(0,a)/netbsd @ 0x0
text=0x68000 data=0x5000 bss=0x17e2c total=0x84e2c

Insert file system floppy

... So I do:

entry point 0x20

... and the machine again crashes.

Has anyone encountered a similar problem? If not, does anyone have any
suggestions that might help?

Thanks in advance,
Rob
