No, but I have experienced something similar, and would be very interested in 
hearing from anyone that can give any answers about the gateway mice.
I have tried getting NetBSD0.9/Xfree86-2.0 to recognise it as a bus mouse,
as a ps/2 mouse and as a microsoft mouse, all with no luck. A logitech serial
mouse in com1 seems ok however.

The answer to this problem would make my life complete :-)
