  I apologize because this must be an FAQ. But I can't configure the device
file for a mouse. I have a Logitech TrackMan (using Micrsoft protocol) con-
necting to COM1 (DOS). And I have the line: 'Microsoft "/dev/com0"' in my
Xconfig file. X keeps complaining about incorrect mouse fd (bad ioctl) and
can't be started up. I have the following files in /dev:

    lrwxrwxr-x  1  uucp  wheel       5  com0->tty00
    crw-------  1  uucp  wheel   8,  0  tty00
    crw-------  1  uucp  wheel   8,  1  tty01
    crw-------  1  uucp  wheel   8,  2  tty02

  Could someone please tell me what are the exact procedures in order to make
a mouse recognized by the OS (NetBSD)? Thanks in advance.
