Hi there

is there way to use usenames with more than 8 characters in NETBSD 0.9?
I tried to write a username with 9 chars into /etc/passwd, which was no
problem, but when I tried to give this user a password with passwd
I got the error message that the user doesn't exist.
After I shortened the username to 8 chars I was able to change the
password and login as this user.
