I've just installed NetBSD on my computer and now I'm trying to
get my ethernet card to work...

It's a SMC 8013WC of the "Elite" series.
I have it set at:
Base I/O - 280
     IRQ - 2
Ram Addr - D0000
     ROM - DISABLED

I think this is what the install_notes recommend, but I'm getting a timeout
when I enter the ifconfig command:

# ifconfig ed0 my_address
# ed0: device timeout

I haven't installed the source yet. I was hoping to be able to accomplish
that by ftp, but perhaps that is the problem.

If someone could tell me what I'm doing wrong it would be appreciated.
