Hello all !
I have done this, it isn't easy. The common problems are
- Setting up the Ethernet card. ( Very hard, even if you had
an "official" card, mine is a HP PCLan card ).
- You must look at every config file for :
elm, smail and tin. ( Btw. I hope now everything is going,
yesterday my tin & elm Adresses were wrong. Hopefully fixed ).
- The performance and the reliability for slow connections via TCP/IP
is not good in comparison to a HP-UX 9000 machine.
There are problems with closing the connections.
- gopher and archie Setup was simple, just get the Source, edit it,
and do a make.
