options		GATEWAY

in your kernel config will enable the IP forwarding code - my FreeBSD 1.0.2
system is a SLIP node, and my DOS PC's use it as a gateway to the 'Net.

That's all you should need, perhaps a default route from your FreeBSD box to
your SLIP hub - and configuring other hosts on your local ethernet to
use the FreeBSD box as a gateway.
