Hi,
My question is very simple, from within a shell, how can one find out
if he/she is in remote session, instead of local one, say on telnet or rlogin?

Note, I do not want to type special escape character to bring me back to
local session (ie ^] in telnet, and ~. in rlogin/rsh).

Is there any simplest way (not in programmin level) to check with inetd ,
telnetd, rlogind etc for such verification ?

Thanks in advance and email reply please.
