I wish you'd stop feeling so compelled to comment on FreeBSD, Charles.

I don't post long diatribles here detailing what's wrong or right with
NetBSD (not that I even care, but..) and I'm quite sure you and a
number of others in the NetBSD camp would rightfully go ballistic if I
did. Your opinions are intolerably biased, you're on record as having
a generally negative attitude towards _anything_ in FreeBSD (I have
searched long and hard through my mail archives and cannot find so
much as ONE positive or even vaguely neutral thing you've said about
FreeBSD _ever!_) and at this point your credibility rating in the
"unbiased journalism" department is pretty well shot. One could also
cynically conclude that FreeBSD has nothing to recommend it, but I've
received enough positive feedback from people who feel very strongly
otherwise that I'd be more inclined to think it's YOU, Charles.

So let's drop this pretense of "battling operating system features";
that's not what it's about and everybody knows it. It's battling
personalities, and I for one am getting pretty tired of seeing your
rabidly anti-FreeBSD rhetoric posted under the guise of "technical
critiques" to this and other comp.os.386bsd.* groups. Why can't you
just leave us alone? If you truly despise us so much, then a simple
NO COMMENT indicating our status as beneath your contempt would
express your feelings quite adequately and spare the rest of the net
this ridiculous and unending exchange of FreeBSD vs NetBSD shell fire.
