I am looking for a driver for the AT1700 Ethernet Driver by Allied
Telesis. As has been mentioned before, this is the "officially
supported" card for the new MIT/DormNET system.

I believe there is a mostly-functional driver available for Linux, but
I haven't yet located one for *BSD. A port of that driver to BSD, or
a new driver, would take a considerable amount of effort to write (for
me, anyway, although I'd probably learn a lot). I just want to be
sure that someone else hasn't already done it before I embark upon the
task myself.

If you have an AT1700 driver, or if you have a lead for me to follow,
reply to me directly. I'll post the result when I figure it out.
