And I sent it to about five people... Is anyone else using it?

I've never moved the SGI compatable libraries to the new scsi release (the
one from around October), so the only thing I can send out right away
is a set of patches to the previous SCSI release. I can send that
immediately but it is based on the final patchkit to 386bsd before the
move to FreeBSD. Let me know if you want that.

I'm in the process of moving to FreeBSD-current specifically so I can
get some minor SCSI bug fixes merged in (I think that is the active
copy, right Julian?) and it will be available as a user library then.

I notice that NetBSD-current and FreeBSD-current have different
versions of the SCSI subsystem, so it may not help Hellmuth right
away.

Please e-mail me (hd@world.std.com) if you want a copy as soon as
possible. I'm especially interested in locating someone with an SGI
machine and the sample CD-player code using the SGI generic scsi
interface willing to try to get it to work on a *BSD box.
