I also have the same problem. Apparently the keyboard will lock up when booting FreeBSD if you're in turbo mode. If you turn turbo off and then boot FreeBSD (most of the time) the keyboard will work correctly. If anyone has any other experience with this, I'd love to hear it. -- J.
