I keep offering people the 98% written 1670 driver
that Greg Hosler wrote before he left TFS.COM, but 
no-one has made it work yet..
when Greg left he had it reading and writing, though
writes sometimes were unreliable.

The scsi system has evolved a bit since then, 
(and the 1670 required very low level attention)
but surely there is someone who can take this forward?
