	This is *NOT* going to be old rehashed material.
	
	Yes, there are problems with the DMA, but
	from your message I would say that it's 
	probably not.... check for bad connections
	first in the ether... this seems to be 
	more of a problem (from my experienecs)
	that not.   You'll be surprised how many
	companies try to cheat a bit with the
	wrong cable... Maybe that's why twisted
	pair is popular.(just my opinion).
