We have been running NetBSD here for nearly a year - first 0.8, then 0.9.
However, 0.9 has been giving us problems, and with the new academic year
about to start, we are going to re-install everything from scratch. The
options now are to go for NetBSD-current (in which the kernel problems
have been corrected), NetBSD-0.9 with a repaired kernel, or make a switch
over to FreeBSD. NetBSD is what we favour, for its long-term stability,
but if we are going to switch to FreeBSD, now is the time. The machine
needs to be as stable as possible. Opinions please ?
