Anyone seen this:

SMC Elite Combo drops IP packets (something like 50% loss, particularly
with large packets) with recompiled kernel (GENERIC), but kernel in the
distribution works fine.  The symptoms seem SMC card related, as this
appears in two different systems (16MHz very-old-386-PC-ega and
66MHz-AMD-opti-hercules).  NetBSD 0.9.
