NetBSD-current binaries are available from ftp.iastate.edu in
/pub/netbsd/NetBSD-current/binaries/. I have /bin /sbin /usr/bin
/usr/sbin /usr/libexec and /usr/lib there, both extracted and in a big
tarball. I would recommend not using the extracted files unless you
just need one specific file, as the transfer from netbsd nfs -> ultrix
-> afs -> ftp causes their permissions to get mangled (they'll still
work ok, but you'll have to set ownership and permissions on them
individually if you get them individually in extracted form).

You will need to get one of the current source tar files (from
somewhere else -- these are only the compiled binaries) and do a make
install in /usr/src/share/mk and /usr/src/include at least if you want
current compiles to work. You'll probably also want to take a very
close at the current version of files in /usr/src/etc and see if some
of your files in /etc should be upgraded. The current binary tarball
will have all the current compilers and linkers and stuff that you'll
need, as well as the other binaries and libraries.

Note that the kernel that I have supplied on this site is my kernel,
is configured for wd and BusLogic scsi drivers, plus a WD80x3 ether
card, so I'm making no promises it'll work for you. I will not make
custom kernels for people, so don't ask. Everything else there should
work just fine.

Please understand all this stuff comes without guarantees and with no
support -- I'm only providing it to help users move up to current, and
only as long as it doesn't cause me extra work. Also, if you're going
to run current, you should subscribe to the current-users list by
sending mail to majordomo@sun-lamp.cs.berkeley.edu.

Good luck!
