The BSDisc is one source for *BSD on CD-ROM.

Although you haven't heard from us on the Net for a while, the BSDisc
project is alive and well. Some of you who saw our initial tentative
announcement probably decided to "wait and see" whether anything
really happened. Well, things are progressing well; te BSDisc began
shipping last Dec.

Part of the reason for our relative silence is that I hate blatent
commercial posts myself... ;-)

At any rate, here's a brief summary of the BSDisc:

The BSDisc Vol 1 includes FreeBSD-1.0, NetBSD-0.9, XFree86-2.0, X11R5
source, BSD News archive, the Net/2 FAQ, and lots of "ports" and
"packages".

The BSDisc is especially well suited to *BSD users who want to get
each new release conveniently and affordably. We plan to ship 3-4
issues per year, depending on release schedules of the various BSDs.

The price for Subscribers is $19.50 per issue, and for non-subscribers
it's $35.00 per issue. (Add $3.50 S&H in the US, and $8 for Int'l).
