Don't know about the Ultra Plus but the Ultra card is an 8216 card not 8013, nevertheless the ed driver *does* support it. The ed driver supports many cards and not just the 8013's. You should contact David Greenman, who wrote it and discuss the problem with him. If it's not probing the Ultra-Plus properly then I'm sure he'd want to know.
