Hi,
I am just wondering if I can set up a SLIP connection say from my
COM1 to COM2 (including a null modem), and configure that 2 SLIP
interfaces for use during a Telnet or rlogin session ? How can I tell
Telnet and/or rlogin to use a particular network interface ? The thing is
for localhost connection, it will always use loopback interace, isn't it ?
So, that means I will have to set up my system as a gateway with 2 different
IP addresses. Am I right ?

Can I do it that way, if so, how can I configure my kernel to have 2
different names ?

I suppose this is the same for system with 2 Ethernet cards, right ?

Thanks in advance, and email replies please!
