I have not fully debugged this as yet. I have an xapplication which is
making an rstat() call to my netbsd machine and asking for ipackets and
opackets (basically I want to monitor the traffic on my slip line).

/usr/sbin/rpc.statd is generating an error which then fries inetd
(No telnet, echo, etc) ipackets are reported correctly. opackets
are never reported as anything other than 0.

Anyone seen this?
