MIT's primary kerberos server was a Microvax II for the longest time.
The one at MIT only needed to handle between 2 and 4 requests per
second at the busiest time per day.

Well, it depends on the size of the zones served by the machine..
since named uses an in-core database, it may take a while to start if
the zone is bigger than the available physical memory.
