Could anyone answer the following qeustions:

1. Is shared memory (and other IPC facilities like messages and semaphore)
available on most BSD-based UNIX systems?

2. Is shared memory (and other IPC) a POSIX standard?

3. Is shared memory available on linux?

Thanks.
