I didn't comment on this since I wasn't sure, but since Bruce wrote
this I will also mention the fact the the above 'wx' driver is now
the stock wd driver in FreeBSD-current and will be the default wd
driver in FreeBSD-1.1.  The new driver has many new fixes above and
beyond the fixes described above, so if anyone is having lots of
problems with the FreeBSD driver on their machine, consider upgrading
to FreeBSD-current.
