wd0: error in bad-sector file

Any ideas?

The message comes early, before any kernel boot messages (it might be given
by the loader?).

Tried initializing the bad block table from fixdist and hard disk boot,
relabeling and other combinations.  Always the same result, and no bad
block mapping.
