I am having a hell of a time getting FreeBSD 1.0.2 uucp to work. Here
is the scoop. Any help appreciated.

System: 486/33
	8meg mem.
	Adaptec 1542CF
	16550 buffered uarts.
	Zyxel U1496 modem

The connection to the remote system goes well and the system start
exchanging data. Then I get a truckload of NAKs, resends, etc. This
happens with ANY protocol I try. The system on the remote side is:

1) ISC 3.0 Taylor 1.04
2) BSDI 1.0 Taylor 1.04.

Both these systems talk to each other, neither will talk to FreeBSD
without the retry garbage. When using protocol 'i' the bidirectional
transfer starts, then eventually the FreeBSD system stops sending
altogether. If I try to do a kill -15 on the running uucico process,
the system will hang, forcing me to power it off to reset it. This
happens whether answering the call or making the call. I am running
the sio drivers with the COMM_BIDIR option defined in the kernel
config. The port is recognized as a 16550 by the startup. I have
crtscts defined as default for the port so hardware flow control is
working. The zyxel is setup to do rts/cts flow control only.

If you need more info, please let me know.

Any help appreciated.
