I looked in the BSD Faq, but the hardware section seems to have a few holes
that were never filled in. I was going to get a 2742 until I found out no
drivers are or will soon be available for it. Now I am looking at the
   BusLogic, either a BT-747 (Fast) or a BT-757 (Fast+Wide). Can anyone tell
me if drivers for either FreeBSD or NetBSD are available for these systems?

Yap. I think these Buslogic SCSI Busmaster Board with
EISA/VLB(/PCI?) BUS will work with bt742a.c driver of FreeBSD/NetBSD
and 386BSD + Julian's SCSI. They keep 32bits enhancing
interface(Native mode) for driver soft side not like other products of
vendor ;-)

If these also have no drivers, can someone recommend a Fast SCSI II EISA
   board?

So you can do it with *BSD.

Also does anyone happen to have a list of ethernet boards supported?
I would like to get a low-end EISA board ( ~$200-300), and I am open
     for suggestions.
