I have been having some problems getting NFS to work over a
9600bps SLIP line. The server is running NetBSD 0.9 on my machine
at home, which dials into a FreeBSD system at work to set up SLIP.
I can mount the drive from the FreeBSD system or a PC at work, but
when I copy a file to the drive, it writes 8k and then gets errors.
Does anyone else have this sort of thing running? Is there anything
I can tune to get it to work? Telnet, rlogin, and ftp work fine, if
a bit slow and jumpy, and the line tends to drop in the early
morning hours, but SLIP itself seems ok. Thanks.
