I just thought I'd mention that a nice little program called term works
without any problems on NetBSD V0.9. It doesn't compile straight from the
box but it's a minor hickup only.

Term is originally from linux. It is similar to the program called Unix
Windows and multiplexes a serial link between a remote host and a local
machine. What's new about this in this packadge is that it also permits
access to X/Windows through the serial link *without* the need to be
superuser on *both* machines ie. you can just start it and get windows from
the remote machine to pop up on your own machine's display. It also seems to
handle downloads sufficiently which eg. UW never did. It is also
bi-directional (remote user can log on local).

If you have any problems I'll be happy to help you out.
