I'd like to get my consol window in 50 lines. Something akin
to mode con:lines=50 for dos..
Very much related, I'd also like to increase the repeat speed
and decrease the repeat delay.. again, something like
mode con:rate=32 delay=1

I know the first is possible if I run X, but I can't afford the
space right now and I have no problems just running 'screen' most of the
time. I can't find any options for X to set the repeat rate and delay
in X. xset doesn't look too useful. I hate to think I'll be
stuck at the dreadfully slow default repeat rates while trying
to get important things done at the console.

I've heard someone said something about hacking in a bit of code
just before the kernel is started or something, but I don't have
access to either the person or the code right now and would
like to find a solution as soon as possible.
