Hello,

I have had a NetBSD 0.9 working for quite a while now. However I decided to
get another PC, load it with NetBSD and play around with networking
So I bought two NE2000 'clone' boards (cheap) and dropped them in.
On bootup the cards were correctly recongized as I/O 0x300 and IRQ9.

On the machine that was running for a while, I did an
	ifconfig ne0 126.0.0.1

I then loaded the other machine from the boot/fs floppies and preped the
HD. So as not to flip mega floppies I decided to try to ftp the distribution
from my other system.

Sooo, I did an
	ifconfig ne0 126.0.0.2

When I do an ftp 126.0.0.1 nothing happens - except for a timeout. I see that
the receive light flashes on the network card on the main box, and the
transmit on the slave box.

Am I missing something obvious? I looked through the FAQ, and nothing.
BTW, there is no exotic hardware in any of these machines. I stripped them
to the HD/FD controller and the video card.

Your help is appreciated. (I will summarize responses)
cheers
alex
