I finally got xcdplayer working under FreeBSD-1.0R with an Adaptec 1542C and
a Toshiba 3401. I have a 386BSD port of xcdplayer which was failing in
the initial call to cdrom_getcurtrack(), called from cdrom_open(), called from
main(). I ignored the cdrom_getcurtrack() call and set the current track to 1
and it worked. I'm not sure if subsequent calls to cdrom_getcurtrack() work
as expected though.
